Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has issued a bold challenge to former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, saying he is ready to step into the ring, provided the money is right.

The singer made this known while warming up for his celebrity boxing match with Carter Efe.

Portable challenges Anthony Joshua

Portable stated that only a significant financial offer would convince him to take on the boxing star, but expressed confidence in his ability to face the former world champion despite the disparity in experience.

The singer has been publicly calling out Joshua in recent weeks, shifting focus away from an earlier proposed celebrity bout with Speed Darlington, which he now says no longer interests him.

In the video, Portable opined that he is the face of Nigerian boxing, and would remain undefeated even if he were to fight Anthony Joshua.

“If they give me ₦1 billion, I’m ready to take you down, Anthony Joshua; I am the face of Nigerian boxing, nobody can collect belt from me…”
