A Nigerian man has sparked buzz online for calling out Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats superstar Davido, over an outfit.
The man, Chiedu Ikechukwu, via a now-viral Facebook post, queried Chioma over the cost of her outfit.
Man Calls Out Chioma Over Outfit
According to Facebook user, the outfit’s cost is estimated to be equivalent to 14 years of his monthly salary and would feed thousands of individuals for 3 months.
”Do you know that the cost of your outfit is my 14 years salary, How will you be wearing outfit that can feed 5,000 people for 3 months”, The post reads in part.
Expressing displeasure, he urged Chioma to opt for cheaper outfits stating, “Why wasting money on clothes you can buy in Aba, Onitsha, Okirika for a cheaper amount as low as 10k, Chef Chi please learn to manage and economize 
”.
Additonally, a government official, Ossai Ovie Success described Chioma’s outfit as ‘half-naked’.
It would be recalled that last year, Chioma Adeleke faced intense backlash over her outfit at the 68th Grammy Awards.
She wore a sheer dress that drew mixed reactions, with netizens praising her confidence and others criticizing it as inappropriate.
Amid the backlash, Chioma responded, emphasizing,”I will wear it again“.
