Juventus have entered the race to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, joining the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in pursuit of the midfielder.
Juventus are reportedly considering offering Matias Soule in a part-exchange deal for Olise, seeking to outmaneuver their Premier League rivals.
Soule, 20, has been on loan at Serie A side Frosinone, where he has impressed with 10 goals in 23 appearances.
He previously made 21 appearances for Juventus’ first team after joining from Velez Sarsfield as a teenager.
Meanwhile, Olise has had a challenging season at Palace marred by injuries.
The French Under-21 international missed the start of the campaign with a hamstring issue, returned to score six goals and provide three assists in 11 games, only to suffer another hamstring injury.
Roy Hodgson, former Palace boss, faced criticism for bringing Olise on as a substitute in a match against Brighton, where he got injured again.
Explaining his decision, Hodgson mentioned the pressure to include Olise due to his talent and the lack of indications that Olise was unhappy to come on as a substitute.
Olise’s latest injury will keep him out for around two months, posing a challenge for new Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
