Nigerian entertainer Mcee Slimjoe has criticised singer Speed Darlington, accusing him of failing to appreciate the support he has received from others.
Slimjoe’s remarks came hours after Speed Darlington’s manager, Goskey, reportedly quit his role and accused the singer of owing him three years’ salary and mistreating him.
Goskey also claimed that Speed Darlington gave him only ₦200,000 out of the millions he allegedly earned from his boxing match against Carter Efe.
In a separate account, Slimjoe recalled travelling from Abia State to Lagos in 2025 to attend Speed Darlington’s show, claiming that the singer gave him just ₦50,000.
“Speed Darlington is a wicked person. He’s not the type of person people should associate with. I once travelled from Abia to Lagos for his show in 2025, only for him to give me ₦50,000,” Slimjoe said.
He also recounted several occasions when he claimed to have supported the singer, alleging that Speed Darlington failed to acknowledge his efforts.
The latest criticism adds to the allegations surrounding the rapper following his manager’s public fallout with him.
However, the claims made by Slimjoe and Goskey have not been independently verified, and Speed Darlington’s response to their allegations was not included in the information available.
