A Nigerian lady arrested for violating interstate travel ban, eventually ended up travelling to see her boyfriend.
The lady, @queen_babie on X (formerly Twitter), shared that the incident occurred during the global COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Lady Gets Arrested
According to the lady’s account, her ex-boyfriend resided outside her state and she decided to visit him, despite an interstate travel ban due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, things took a surprising turn after security operatives arrested her.
While attempting to reach out to her boyfriend through phone call and text, he ignored her.
“My man wasn’t taking my calls. Texted him on WhatsApp with someone else’s phone, he read and ignored the message, called him with different numbers which he ended once he heard my voice”,She stated, while recounting the incident.
Meanwhile, a stranger alongside his relatives bailed her out, while she continued the journey to visit her boyfriend.
