Gunmen have reportedly attacked the Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State, leaving at least seven people dead and two lecturers kidnapped.

This was disclosed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), where videos of the aftermath were also uploaded.

The graphic footage showed the bodies of the individuals said to have been killed during the attack.

According to the individual who made the post, the assailants abducted two lecturers from the institution during the incident.

As of the time of filing this report, the school management, the Anambra State Government, and the police are yet to issue any official statements regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, the post has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to express shock and concern.
