A youth corps member has shared a heartbreaking experience from five years ago, recalling how her pastor publicly prophesied that she would not pursue higher education but instead become pregnant.
In a video posted on TikTok, the woman recounted being singled out during a church service, where her pastor called her to the altar alongside several others.
The pastor then declared that she would be one of those who would not have the opportunity to attend school but would end up pregnant instead.
Reflecting on that moment, she explained how devastated she was, recalling, “I went home and cried, my family cried. We even prayed for that prophecy not to come to pass. I was in so much pain. Parents in my community even told their children to stop associating with me, fearing I might be a bad influence.”
Years after that prophecy, however, she shared a different reality, proudly displaying her NYSC certificate and celebrating her journey through university. “All I want to say is thank you, Jesus,” she said, showing gratitude for overcoming the prediction.
Her story has since gone viral, with many viewers leaving supportive comments and sharing their own thoughts on the video.
