England opened their Euro 2024 campaign with a 1-0 victory over Serbia, thanks to an early header from Jude Bellingham.

Despite the win, the Three Lions were far from their best, especially in the second half.

Bellingham’s decisive goal came just 13 minutes into the match, giving Gareth Southgate’s side an early lead.

England dominated possession in the first half, with the early goal serving as a boost.

However, the second half saw a resurgent Serbia side putting England under sustained pressure.

The Three Lions struggled to maintain their first-half form and had to withstand long periods of Serbian attacks.

But despite the struggles, they managed to hold on for the three points.
