Bayern Munich earned their place in the Champions League knockout stages for the 16th consecutive season with Harry Kane double.

The visitors gave their best, but it was Bayern’s late-game strategy that sealed the match at 2-1.

Joshua Kimmich’s free-kick found Harry Kane, whose header secured the lead with just 10 minutes before normal time.

The initial offside flag was overturned after a VAR check was carried out. Kane struck again six minutes later, capitalizing on Tel’s assist, sealing tge victory for Bayern.

Despite Galatasaray’s late response through Bakambu, Bayern’s lead was unshaken.

The win, coupled with Manchester United’s 4-3 defeat at Copenhagen, saw Bayern to the top of the group, confirming their place in the last 16.
