An elderly woman has totally refused to release her grandchild after the mother who abandoned him seven years ago returned to take him from her.
Speaking in a video which has gone viral, the elderly woman explained that her late son and the boy’s mother welcomed him seven years ago.
One day, the boy’s mother told her that she wants to go outside to get some stuffs, and that was the last she ever heard or saw her.
Now the lady has returned seven years later and is imposing claim over the child.
The elderly woman emphasized that she had singlehandedly raised the boy with earnings from her little trade, putting him through school and feeding him.
She noted that her husband’s dead as well as her son and the grandchild is the only family she has and this wouldn’t be letting the boy go.
